The Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) invites ambitious researchers to express their interest in joining our dynamic research community and developing independent, high-quality projects in the field of marine sciences.
We are particularly interested in early-career scientists with a strong publication record, a clear vision for their research, and a motivation to contribute to cutting-edge, interdisciplinary projects in one or more of CCMAR’s Research Thematic Lines:
- Global Environmental Changes
Understanding the impacts of climate change, pollution, and other global drivers on marine ecosystems, and developing strategies for mitigation and adaptation. - Ocean Management and Conservation
Advancing marine spatial planning, biodiversity protection, fisheries sustainability, and policy advice for effective ocean governance. - Marine Products and Resources
Exploring marine organisms, resources, and biotechnological applications to develop sustainable products and solutions for human benefit.
