Passionate about the ocean, I'm a marine biologist who specializes in communicating science, the environment and sustainability. With a bachelor's and master's degree in Marine Biology and a PhD in Science Communication, my job for over 10 years has been to bridge the gap between science and society. I'm skilled and experienced in translating complex scientific concepts for non-scientific audiences of all ages through different communication channels, from educational activities and museum exhibitions to animated videos and awareness-raising campaigns. 

At CCMAR, I have launched the CCMAR Ocean Education Unit with the goal of fostering ocean literacy and inspire meaningful public engagement in marine science and ocean conservation through education, citizen science, outreach, and science communication. Previously, I led the CCMAR Science Communication Unit between 2019 and 2025.
