Climate change and environmental impacts on marine resources: the group contributes at EU level to advances regarding a framework approach for the Assessment of Eco-socioeconomic effect of climate change on fisheries with results revealing predominantly low to moderate impacts of climate change on fisheries and main communities along the Portuguese coast;  tropicalization and invasions with new marine species in the Algarve Coast have been registered and proposal of new management strategies proposed; the group also led a project to infer about the ecological characterization of Luanda Bay (Angola) and, throughout an hydrological model, presented a solution for environmental degradation (eg.
