CCMAR has joined the Cientificamente Provável project, where contributed to the literacy of information about sciences for young students and motivated them to develop their knowledge.
Between the 6th and 18th of December 9 students of the Master in Marine Biology will defend their thesis.
“Cientificamente provável” is an outreach project that takes science into schools. This is the second year that the project is running with such a success that we can't accept much more applications.
Last February, CCMAR participated in the open day of the University of Algarve and received about 120 students.
This week CCMAR received the visit of students from the 1st grade at Colégio Bernardette Romeira, who got to know our research a little better.
Our researchers Peter Hubbard and Zélia Velez have published this recent study which aims to study the effects of ocean acidification on olfactory sensitivity fish.
