CCMAR welcomes Andrei Rusu, Senior Software Engineer at Pineview Labs (Norway).
Andrei will present the KelpObserve project, combining diver surveys and photo-quadrats from Arrábida with water-column profiles, Copernicus satellite imagery and Machine Learning to map kelp forests. He will also introduce the OceanStream data platform and how data from KelpObserve campaigns will be stored and presented.

Andrei Rusu is a Senior Software Engineer and Platform Architect at Pineview Labs (Norway), Co-founder & CTO of OceanStream and is working with both in-situ marine data and earth observation/remote sensing.
