CCMAR is organising a Confocal Microscopy Workshop in collaboration with Leica Microsystems, featuring John Pearson, Leica Application Specialist, from 27 to 29 October 2026.

The workshop will introduce CCMAR’s new state-of-the-art Leica STELLARIS confocal microscope, equipped with White Light Laser and FALCON FLIM technology. Participants will explore the fundamentals of confocal microscopy and advanced imaging techniques, including spectral imaging and fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM).

The programme combines theoretical sessions, practical demonstrations and the opportunity to bring your own samples to test the equipment and explore potential applications for future scientific projects.

Target audience: Students, junior and senior researchers, principal investigators (PIs) and industry professionals.

Participation is free of charge, but places are limited. Participants will be divided into smaller groups for the practical sessions.
