GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Submission: Please submit your abstract using the abstract submission form following the guidelines therein and summarized below:

 

Abstracts should be preferentially written in English and prepared according to the following guidelines (use the template file at www.linkfile.ccmar.ualg.pt):

Maximum characters: Total 300 words including Acknowledgments

Font: Times New Roman. size: 10 Text: single space and justified

Title: written in capital letters and highlighted in bold.

Authors: First author indicate first name and surname. The remain authors use the name initials followed by the surname. The name of the presenting author should be underlined and email provided
Affiliation: Include Department/Faculty/University/Research Centre name and address of the different authors. Use superscripts to indicate different authors affiliations.

 

Please indicate in the abstract submission form the preferred type of presentation: Oral or Poster

Final decision on the presentation type will be made the Scientific Committee.

The Congress Secretariat will contact you on abstract acceptance and type of presentation selected.

 

CONFIRMATION OF ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

An acknowledgement email will be sent to confirm that your abstract will be received, including abstract ID number (AID##). If you do not receive within three working days of your submission, please contact the Congress Secretariat on aiec2019@ualg.pt.

 

ORAL PRESENTATION

Oral communications should be prepared in PowerPoint or PDF and must be compatible with Windows operative system. Further information on time slots and duration of presentations will be posted online soon and informed upon confirmation abstract acceptance and type of presentation selected.

 

POSTER PRESENTATION

Authors must place the posters on the first day of conference in allocated space (number will be indicated after acceptance). During the poster session the presenting authors are required to stand next to their posters. Attachment material will be provided. Poster will be displayed during all days of the congress and authors are responsible to remove them on the last day.

Recommended poster size is A0 (85 x 120cm) - Portrait, NOT landscape please.

 

CONGRESS ABSTRACT BOOK

An ebook containing all the accepted abstracts will be prepared. This can be accessed from the congress website closer to the conference dates.
