Cármen Sousa won the prize for best poster at AIEC
Carmen Sousa, researcher and PhD student of the CEIB group, won the prize for best scientific poster with the Innate Immune Response of two Antarctic Notothenioid Fish presentation of the Noto-Immune project.
The prize was awarded at the AIEC congress held in September.
For the researcher to receive this award is extremely positive for the recognition of her work as PhD student. “The main reason that justifies this prize was this project be very promising and will contribute to a better knowledge and findings of the immune system of antarctic notothenioid fish. Another reason was the experimental design and all logistic, difficulties and hard conditions to do such experiment and samples collection in Antarctica.”, says Carmen.
