Course Description 

CCMAR has acquired two NanoDrop spectrophotometers in the context of the EMBRC.PT project to reinforce the capabilities of Protmar and Molecular Biology Platforms and the scientific community in general.

Introduction to the NanoDrop instruments, applications and capabilities, and tips to improve the lab work. Applications, Software, AcclaroTM contamination detection software, Results analysis, Connectivity, FAQs, Maintenance, Customized protocols.

Intended Audience 
Scientists and companies interested in perform quantitative PCR reactions, gene expression, as well as using the software for the selection of the best reference gene, analyzing different plates simultaneously, grouping data for interpretation by groups and/or technical replicates, as well as allowing ANOVA statistical analysis.

Controltecnica Instrumentación Científica
Montserrat Pablo has a PhD in Genetics and has been Molecular Biology researcher for more than 10 years. She works currently as Product Manager for the Molecular and Cell Biology product line for Controltecnica Instrumentación Científica. She has experience in many Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, capillary gel electrophoresis, BLI, SPR, and some spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy techniques, like NanoDrop UV-VIS principle. She has worked as a researcher at the University of Córdoba and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has collaborated with many universities...
