The Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) organizes between 4th and 6th March 2014 the Workshop Seagrasses in Europe: Threats, Responses and Management.

This workshop will be co-funded by the COST Action.

 

This is the preliminary announcement for a comprehensive conference on the status, threats and management efforts of seagrass ecosystems in Europe. These issues will be discussed on the levels of genetics, environmental genomics and ecophysiology, and meadow community, as affected by environmental change. The responses, and relevant indicators for monitoring such responses, will be evaluated so as to offer effective management tools in order to maintain the services of seagrass meadows in Europe.
