How to use the CCMar Computational Cluster Facility (Gyra - gyra.ualg.pt)

Gyra is the name of the
computation cluster facility available to members of CCMar to perform
computationally intensive analyses.

The cluster consists of 128 CPU's with up
to 128GB RAM available to a single process and is suitable for de novo genome
and transcriptome assembly. This workshop will focus on how to use the cluster
effectively and will cover topics such as user access, security, filesystem
structure, submitting analyses to the work queue, and installing personal
copies of software.

The workshop is only open to those who can bring a
wirelessly networked laptop running either OSX or Linux, and is limited to 16
attendees.
