The poster by Mafalda Rangel, Science, technology and society initiative to minimise unwanted catches in European fisheries – the MINOUW Project (EU H2020 RIA) was selected as the best poster.
The poster by Laura Sordo, "A novel system to manipulate and control CO2 levels in mesocosms for ocean acidification experiments" was considered the best poster from a Ph.D student.
The jury decided to also give a special prize to Rogério Ferreira, for its social component: Sea Turtle Community-based Conservation at Principe Island, presented at the 2nd FisherMan Regional Conference, Sept, Mozambique.
